Support / Print Preflight Visualizer (Local)
DTG/POD Print File Checker Lite (Local) helps you catch common print risks before you upload your file.
What this extension does
It visualizes typical DTG/POD risk areas, such as:
- Thin strokes (may break / get lost)
- Narrow gaps / knockouts (may fill in / merge)
Risk estimation is based on your image pixel dimensions and the print size (mm) you set.
Local-only (no uploads)
Images are processed locally in your browser. No files are uploaded or transmitted to any server.
For details, see the Privacy Policy.

4) Choose analysis options
- Standard / Stricter
Stricter highlights more conservative risk zones. - Print: White garment / Dark garment
Switch depending on your garment background. - Stress test: OFF | 150 | 200
Simulates rougher conditions (downsample + upscale) to reveal weak points.
5) Analyze
Click Analyze to generate the right-side visualization.
6) Save results
Use the Save buttons to export:
- Original image
- Risk-highlight result
How to read results
- Red: Thin strokes risk (may break / get lost)
- Orange: Narrow gaps risk (may fill in / merge)
Important: This is a preflight helper, not a guarantee. When quality is critical, always do a test print.
FAQ
Does this tool upload my image?
No. It runs locally in your browser and does not transmit files.
Why does the background not change / look wrong?
Use Background: Light / Dark to adjust visibility.
If you use a transparent PNG, visibility depends on the preview matte.
The right pane is blank
This is expected until you click Analyze.
I see “0 hits” (no highlights), but I expected risks
Common causes:
- The strokes/gaps are already thick enough at your chosen print size (mm).
- Your image is not clean (e.g., noisy JPEG); try a cleaner export.
- Detection may be affected when the image has a solid background. Try:
- Using a transparent PNG
- Increasing contrast (pure black ink on transparent or white)
The result is slow on large images
Large images may be slower to analyze.
Try a smaller PNG export if performance is an issue.
